What You’ll Need for 4th of July Cinnamon Rolls

All you need is:

  • a can of cinnamon rolls
  • red and blue food coloring

Seriously, it doesn’t get any easier than this! We’re big fans of the Grands cinnamon rolls—just be sure to get the kind that unravels easily for a smooth process. With an ingredient list this simple, you can bet this breakfast is going to be a big hit for both you and your kids.

Steps to Make These 4th of July Cinnamon Rolls

  1. Start by unrolling one of the cinnamon rolls and fold it into an accordion shape (see what I mean in the video below).
  2. From there you can easily pull it out into the shape of a star, connect the ends, repeat with all of the cinnamon rolls, and bake them according to the instructions.
  3. Split the icing into three ziplock bags and mix one with a little red food coloring, one with a little blue food coloring, and leave one white.
  4. Cut a small hole in the corner of each zip lock back and drizzle the icing over your stars and there you have it, the easiest 4th of July-themed breakfast you’ll ever make!
