I love Christmas at Disney. I talk about it a lot, from Epcot to Magic Kingdom, Disney has so much to do during the holidays.

One of our favorite holiday traditions is to take the family over to Disney Springs for the day.

We check out all the free activities, grab some of our favorite snacks, and watch some pretty cool performances.

Christmas at Disney Springs is spectacular and here is what we love so much about it.

Disney Spring’s Christmas Tree Stroll

Christmas trees decorated as some of your favorite Disney memories, snow falling all around you, festive snacks and holiday music!

This year you can discover them around every turn, as they are sprinkled throughout all the villages of Disney Springs.

*The photos below are from 2019 Christmas Tree Stroll with some of the Disney Movie Themes, this year may be different.

Holiday Scavenger Hunt

This year Disney Spring’s has implemented a new family friendly format that respects social distancing guidelines.

This holiday themed quest for clues takes you all around the best of Disney Springs. You’ll also see those beautiful trees in some clues!

*Here’s a photo of Stitch’s Scavenger Hunt from last year. They will be using a different theme and book this year.

Meet Santa at Santa’s Chalet

*This attraction was from 2019 and with social distancing guidelines this may not be available in 2020.

This event fills up early. We got to Disney Springs around lunch and spots were already taken for the day (until 11pm).

Here is what we did:

  • Head to the podium in front of the Christmas Tree trail to secure your spot.
  • Leave your phone number and the cast member will text you when its your time to come and visit Santa.
  • You will have 10 minutes to come and check-in.

Entertainment at Disney Springs

*These events were also in 2019 and will most likely look different in 2020. They are offering Santa’s Winter Watercade in 2020!

Student choirs and dancers perform at the Dock stage with a kid-themed DJ dance party each night at the fountain by Once Upon a Toy. There were also nightly tree lightings at the trees right there next to the stages. Very fun for all ages!
