Summer is such a special time of the year. It’s tan lines and sidewalk chalk. It’s BBQs and watermelon. The kids are out of school and it’s the perfect time to start checking things off your summer bucket list.
The girls and I brainstormed for hours over what some of our favorite summer actives are. This summer might look a bit different but we came up with a pretty amazing summer bucket list of things we wanted to accomplish and we wanted to share it with all of you.
I hope this list gives you an opportunity to really soak in these fleeting moments with your kids. This is a chance to make memories.
You will notice my list has some big things and also simple small things to do. I really believe that some of our favorite memories are the simplest ones, jumping through sprinklers or eating homemade ice cream.
Some new ones that we are excited to try are
- building a trampoline fort – we are totally going to try to camp in our backyard. Not sure how long it will last but at least it will be fun to try.
- making a flower crown from flowers/weeds we find around the neighborhood. Only picking flowers with permission, of course.
- tie-dye t-shirts – this is one of our favorite items on our summer bucket list. We cant wait to see what designs we can make!
