You don’t have to travel to the other side of the world to have a memorable family vacation! We recently visited the Four Seasons Orlando, which is just a short drive from our home. Four Seasons Orlando is the perfect family vacation spot and I want to share all about it with you!
Our Honest Review of the Four Seasons Orlando
Hotel amenities
Rooms
We were extremely happy with the accommodations at the Four Seasons Orlando and we’re certain you will be too! The service is world-class and the property is absolutely gorgeous!
Room Size
The Four Seasons Orlando offers very spacious rooms ranging from 455 to 4,250+ square feet, which is great for larger families. Room size is really important to us as a family of five and this room was perfect!
The hotel offers a variety of suite and villa options, including rooms with private balconies, special amenities, and breathtaking views of either the pool area or the Disney theme parks. BE sure to request the park view room because you will be able to see the fireworks from your balcony!
Room Features
Each room is decorated with elegant furnishings and modern amenities. They have everything a family could ever need, plus more! (like tv’s in the bathroom mirrors and wine dispensing machine)
Each individual room features a separate living room and a private balcony overlooking the lake or the parks. In addition, all rooms include their signature bathrobes and slippers, complimentary Wi-Fi, a refrigerator stocked with drinks, a selection of magazines, and personalized voicemail.

Entertainment
The Four Seasons Orlando offers a variety of entertainment for both children and adults. There really is something for everyone to enjoy here.
Golf
Guests can take advantage of award-winning golf experiences with access to two championship courses, The Tom Fazio 18-hole Golden Bear course and the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course.
On-site attractions
Four Season’s really does add some special touches to make your kids feel welcome! Our favorite had to be the scavenger hunt we did on the first day, which got us familiar with the resort and even got us a free ice cream for finishing. Our girls really loved the introduction and of course their sweet rewards!
For families, there is a special Family Adventure program that includes animal encounters, ecology tours, kayaking, and a great playground!
You can also enjoy poolside movies, which we love, pool games, and the Kids For All Seasons recreation program. The game room was another favorite of ours, since it rained the first day we were there it was perfect for us. On top of all that, there are bike rentals, indoor/outdoor tennis courts, basketball courts, and more.
Dining
Next, let’s talk about the food. If you’re a foodie, this place will excite you in every way. We had one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had on our stay at their 17th floor restaurant Capa.
On-site restaurants
There are so many incredible options for kids, which is such relief for parents. What really surprised us is that the Four Seasons Orlando has its own character breakfast and what a special treat that was. Our girls really enjoyed seeing Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy in such a laidback and intimate atmosphere.
There are several on-site dining options to choose from at this hotel. For casual bites, there’s the infinity pool’s Plancha Bar & Grill and the Lobby Lounge.
If you’re looking for a round-the-clock option, you can also check out the Casa Navia’s all-day dining restaurant. For a more unique evening experience, you can enjoy seasonal dining at Ravello.
Then there’s the Michelin-starred restaurant Capa, which serves the best rooftop steak dinner in all of Central Florida. We cannot say enough great things about their menu, their chef, and the entire staff at Capa. They certainly deserve every bit of their acknowledgments and more to come!

If you wanted to have every single meal and snack in your room, you could. (but you should still go to Capa) Breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night snacks, and light bites menus including breakfast sandwiches, burgers, pizza, steak, salads, pasta, and desserts are all available for in-room dining.
You can even request platters of fruits and cheeses, an awesome selection wines, and small group meals. With room service available all-day and so many options to choose from, you can get true restaurant-quality meals in the comfort of your room for your entire stay!
Amenities
When visiting the Four Seasons Resort with kids you definitely will have to take advantage of all the amazing amenities on property. It really is what sets this resort apart from the rest.
Pools
The zero Entry Pool offers Jacuzzi jets, a water slide, and a cozy poolside retreat. There’s a lazy river, a Play Pool with a splash pad, water slides, and a sandy beach area. There’s an Adult Pool which invites complete relaxation with private cabanas, a full bar with snacks, and comfortable lounge chairs. The Oasis Pool is located on a separate island, which offers a more secluded atmosphere.
We floated down the lazy river and rode the slide about a thousand times. We played pool basketball and volleyball again and again. We ran around and got soaked in the gorgeous splash pad, and then ended our day watching a movie in the pool. What a perfect day in the sun!
Spa
The Four Seasons Orlando has an incredible spa where you can relax and rejuvenate with a plenty of specialized treatments, including massages and body therapies, facials, and scalp treatments. I enjoyed one of the best facial treatments that I’ve ever had and felt so special for the rest of the trip.

The Fitness Center
The fitness center has state-of-the-art equipment and machinery, as expected for the Four Seasons. They offer a variety of weight-training and cardio classes, personal trainers, as well as private yoga and Pilates instruction.
Shopping
There is no shortage of shopping available in and around the resort. Shop onsite at the resort’s Lifestyle Boutique, which has a nice selection of items from designer brands and local retailers. Also an easy place to grab anything you may have forgotten or run out of while you’re there.
Of course, just a few steps away you can visit the many retailers at Disney Springs, including the World of Disney, UNIQLO, Sephora, and more. Plus, the Mall at Millenia and Florida Mall are close as well.
