Our Favorite Mom Halloween Costume Ideas
From last-minute ideas to family costumes that’ll have everyone at the Halloween party talking, here’s a list of the mom Halloween costume ideas that are easy, fun, and full of creativity!
1. Mary Poppins
If you’re a fan of classic movies, this is a great option for a family Halloween costume. You can dress as Mary Poppins with a black outfit, red lip, and magic wand (or should I say umbrella?), while your partner can don a red shirt, black spots (painted on), and a chimney sweep brush as Bert.
Add in a little girl dressed as a chimney sweep, and you’ve got a whole Mary Poppins crew! Bonus points if you can teach your kids to say “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” before Halloween night.

Looking for a family Halloween costume that’s easy yet super? The Incredibles is a great excuse to get the whole family involved. You can buy this customer or DIY it with red shirts, black pants, and a little face paint to turn your whole family into the coolest superheroes on the block. If your little girl or little boy loves Disney, then dressing up as characters from “The Little Mermaid” is a fun way to make Halloween magical.
